Dunedin is a unique community with a wide variety of cultural, recreational, family and musical events offered to the public throughout the year. The quaint and highly touted downtown area surrounding Dunedin’s Main Street has been written about in magazines such as Coastal Living, Money Magazine and Southern Living. The town has been the subject of numerous newspaper articles and was recently spotlighted on Fox news channel 13’s “Good Morning, Tampa Bay.” While there are many events to attend, the two premier events that are staged on Main Street itself are Dunedin Wines The Blues and the annual Mardi Gras parade and concert.

These two events are proudly presented by the Downtown Dunedin Merchants Association. Both events have enjoyed great success and growth for privous years and are ever increasing in scope and size.

The festivals have four key goals:

  • To highlight and bring business to the downtown merchants and their businesses
  • To bring together the members of the community and neighboring communities for fun and fellowship and evenings of quality entertainment
  • To promote Dunedin and its unique qualities to a wide and diverse group of people
  • To raise funds for the merchants association and the charities it helps serve.
